The decision to leave a violent situation is often a sudden one which doesn't allow time to plan or pack for the needs of the victim or children.  Cash, credit cards, and checking accounts may also not be accessible.  With your help, we can provide for some of the most immediate needs.

 

SAFETY NEEDS

We provide used cell phones to victims so they can contact help in an emergency.  

 

PERSONAL NEEDS

Clients often need products products for facial care, makeup, hair care, soaps, or perfume. We always appreciate donations of toilet paper or paper towels. 

 

FOR THE EMERGENCY SHELTER

Laundry soap, bleach, dish soap, garbage bags, plastic wrap, mops, brooms, and miscellaneous cleaning items.

 

FOR MAYDAY, INC. OFFICE

Functioning laptop computer, projector, and office supplies.

 

FINANCIAL NEEDS

While grants pay for things like rent, utilities, and staffing, we rely on donations to cover other items, especially in the areas of education and community awareness. Cash donations provide fliers, teaching materials, and advertising to help us educate the public about abuse and how to stop it.
